What does a complete profile mean?

A complete profile is a job seeker profile that includes the following information:

  • Full name
  • At least one work experience
  • At least one education experience

To register for MeeBoss and begin looking at jobs, only a basic profile is required. In order for employers to see your profile, and to unlock direct chats with employers, you need to have a complete profile.

In order to complete your profile, navigate to your profile either by clicking on the profile icon in the top right of your screen for web, or on the Me icon at the bottom of your mobile device. You can navigate to Profile where you can manually input this information, or will be prompted to upload a CV to use or import information from your LinkedIn account.


How do I upload my resume?

Navigate to your main menu by either selecting your profile icon on at the top right for web users, or under the Me button on mobile. From there, select My resumes. You can save up to 3 resumes on MeeBoss, with PDF, DOC, and DOCX formats up to 10MB each supported. Your resumes can be used to help complete your profile, or when speaking with potential employers and you mutually decide to share your resume.


How do I apply for a job?

Streamline your job application with our direct recruiter connection. Send a message to the employer about the role you're interested in, enabling them to instantly view your profile and continue communication with you. This interactive approach transforms the traditional application process, creating a more personal, efficient, and engaging experience.

Our direct recruiter connection helps you assess fit and compatibility early on. Rather than just applying, you can have an initial dialogue to better understand the role requirements and company culture. This allows you to make more informed decisions about which opportunities to pursue.

By facilitating two-way communication, we aim to provide a transparent and efficient application process. You can showcase your interests and qualifications directly to decision-makers, increasing your chances of finding the right fit and moving forward in the hiring process.

If you and the employer agree, you can then share your resume and contact information with the employer to take the next steps towards an interview.


What are job preferences and how are they used?

Job preferences are set when you register for MeeBoss, and can be updated at any time by navigating to the Job preferences option in the main navigation menu. Here you can set your preferred job title, job location, salary, location type, employment type, level of role, favorite industries, and ready to work status. These are not shown to employers, but are used in inputs to know what kinds of jobs to show you, and what employers to recommend your profile to. We encourage you to keep this information as up-to-date as possible in order to serve you the best jobs that fit your professional needs.


What is Talent Pool?

When you join a company's Talent Pool, any hiring manager at the company will know that you're interested in working with them. That means they're more likely to reach out to you about jobs!

You can also add a short message to let the company know what kinds of jobs you are interested in.

No one besides hiring managers and recruiters working for this company will see that you've joined their Talent Pool.

You can manage the Talent Pools you are in, as well as your message to the company, from the Talent Pool option in the main navigation menu.


Who can see my profile?

Once you have a complete profile, you have two options for your profile’s visibility to others.

  • Employers can find me
  • Employers can’t find me

If your current company is on MeeBoss, we will hide your profile from other employers are registered to that company. Please note that this only applies if the company is registered to MeeBoss.

Otherwise, if your profile is set to Employers can find me, then any other employer can find your profile in order to reach out and send you messages.

If you set your profile to Employers can’t find me, then only employers that you have messaged will be able to see your profile.

How do I manage my notifications from MeeBoss?

MeeBoss is mobile-first, so we prioritize notifications to be sent to users' mobile devices via the dedicated MeeBoss mobile app. In order to change notifications for when a new recommendation arrives, please first make sure that you have adjusted your mobile device’s settings:

How do I report an inappropriate job posting or message content I received?

Every job posting will have a … button near it, with an option to report the job. Please fill out the report form, and someone from MeeBoss will investigate the issue.

Similar to jobs, if a chat with an employer includes some inappropriate content, or you want to block the employer from contacting you, you can look for a similar … within the message screen. From there, you have options to either block the employer, or you can report them to MeeBoss and we will investigate.


How do I report a bug or give feedback regarding MeeBoss?

We want to continue to improve MeeBoss, and appreciate your input as a user. The quickest way to provide feedback to MeeBoss is to send us a message. You should have received a welcome to MeeBoss when you completed your profile, and can send us feedback there.

Alternatively, we have a Send feedback option in the main navigation menu, where you can provide information to us. We may not be able to respond to all submitted feedback, but appreciate it!


How do I delete my MeeBoss account?

Closing your account means permanently deleting your profile and removing access to all your information from MeeBoss.

To close your MeeBoss account:

  1. Click Settings
  2. Select Account settings
  3. Click Delete account and follow the instructions to confirm
