CJE Career & Business Consulting is seeking a high-impact Account Executive who combines the grit of a "hunter" with the presence of a leader. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you will be responsible for spearheading our market expansion. We aren't just looking for someone to manage accounts—we need a closer who can hit the pavement (digitally and via phone), shatter sales targets, and eventually help shape our business development strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Aggressive Prospecting: Take full ownership of the top-of-funnel process. You must be comfortable and proficient in conducting high-volume cold calls and outreach to engage key decision-makers.
Hit & Exceed Sales Goals: Consistently meet or surpass monthly and quarterly revenue targets. You are driven by the scoreboard and motivated by uncapped earning potential.
Strategic Leadership: As a direct report to the CEO, you will provide insights on market trends and contribute to the firm's growth strategy. You will lead by example, setting the standard for sales excellence within the company.
Executive Presence: Navigate complex sales cycles involving C-Suite executives, presenting CJE’s consulting and search services with authority and expertise.
Pipeline Management: Rigorously manage your sales funnel from lead generation to contract signature, ensuring no opportunity falls through the cracks.
Candidate Requirements
Proven Sales Record: Minimum of 3–5 years in a hunter-style B2B sales role. You have a documented history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
Cold Calling Expertise: You view the phone as your primary tool for success. You have the "thick skin" and persistence required to turn cold leads into warm partnerships.
Natural Leadership: You are a self-governing professional who doesn't need micromanagement. You take initiative and are ready to grow alongside the firm.
Regional Residency: To ensure alignment with our core markets, you must reside in Virginia, Maryland, D.C., or Michigan.
Communication: Masterful negotiation and persuasion skills, both over the phone and via video presentations.
