Production Lead in Training - Oversee And Assist All Production, QC, Labor Etc
This role will sit somewhere between production, operations, facilities maintenance and sanitization. For the first month of employment, you will be evaluated in your ability to be the production lead.
This role will CURRENTLY be from our Tiger, GA, bottling facility. In mid 2026 this role will transition to our Habersham County Bottling Facility.
RAIN is a growing company. This is a vital role, requiring absolute trust and confidence to maintain the responsibilities below. We do not require any formal education, where past experience would be valued more highly. If however, you do not have any direct experience, a background and education in Engineering is preferred.
We are looking for a Production Lead to lead all aspects of production. Including but not limited to:
Production
Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
Work closely with the plant manager to direct the plant labor and operators
Quality Control
Follow Food Safety practices developed by plant leadership
Ensure employees maintain and follow GMPs
Commit to plant safety procedures
Find opportunities to improve productivity
Be hands on while the plant is in production, work alongside other plant operators
Essential Skills:
Basic Computer skills
Bottling Machinery knowledge
Electrical knowledge
Mechanical knowledge
Ability to run packaging and bottling equipment
Plumbing and water handling knowledge
Ability to read and write
Ability to climb stairs and silos
Ability to stand for entire shift
Ability to lift 30+ lbs
Work overtime when needed
Essential Functions:
Packaging equipment operation
Bottling, case-packing, capping, material handling
Housekeeping, hosing down floors, moping, sweeping, emptying trash, picking up trash, etc
Facilities maintenance
Equipment cleaning and predictive maintenance
Clear equipment jams
Ensure quality product
Keep floor drains cleaned out and covers on drains.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work production line
Previous bottling or manufacturing experience is a plus
Forklift license is a plus
