Role Overview
As a Sales Intern, you will generate new business opportunities, engage prospective clients, and build a strong sales pipeline across the U.S. market. You'll conduct outbound prospecting, qualify inbound leads, support the sales process, and represent Talentpoel at networking and industry events in Atlanta.

This is a high-activity, performance-driven role with a structured pathway to becoming Sales Lead for the Northeast U.S.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
  • Qualify inbound leads and assess client hiring needs.
  • Book discovery meetings and support deal progression.
  • Close early-stage deals.
  • Attend networking and industry events in Atlanta.
  • Build and maintain an organized CRM pipeline.
  • Research target companies and key decision-makers.
  • Develop personalized outreach campaigns.
  • Consistently follow up with prospects.
  • Track KPIs, conversion metrics, and revenue performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing and recruitment teams.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and performance targets.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Coachable with leadership potential.
  • Interest in recruitment, talent solutions, or HR technology is a plus.


Compensation & Growth Path:

Phase 1: Probationary Training (6 Months)

Up to 8 hours/week | $12/hour + Commission

This phase is focused on training, mentorship, and skill development.

During this stage, you will:

  • Receive hands-on sales training and direct mentorship.
  • Learn Talentpoel's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), positioning, outreach strategy, and CRM systems.
  • Begin outbound prospecting and pipeline development.
  • Represent Talentpoel at networking and industry events.
  • Work toward clearly defined activity and performance KPIs.
  •  Earn commission on every deal you close.

Progression to the next phase requires meeting defined KPIs and demonstrating the ability to contribute to revenue generation.


Phase 2: Growth Stage:

20 hours/week | $2,000/month + Commission

After meeting your KPIs and successfully closing 10 deals, you'll transition into the Growth Stage.

In this phase, you will:

  • Take greater ownership of your sales pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Manage client conversations with greater independence.
  • Contribute consistently to monthly revenue goals.
  • Continue earning commission on all closed deals.


Phase 3: Full-Time Leadership Track

Full-Time | $60,000 Base + Commission

On-Target Earnings: $90,000–$115,000

After demonstrating sustained revenue performance, consistently achieving KPIs, and making a measurable strategic impact during the Growth Stage, you'll transition into a full-time leadership role.

In this role, you will:

  • Own regional revenue growth and sales performance.
  • Lead strategic sales initiatives across the Northeast U.S.
  • Drive business development and market expansion.
  • Progress into the Sales Lead for the Northeast U.S.
