Auto Glass Technician Helper / Glazier Helper

About the Position

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Auto Glass Technician Helper / Glazier Helper to join our team. This is a hands-on position assisting experienced technicians with automotive glass replacement, commercial/residential glazing, and general shop and job-site duties.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with their hands, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing quality work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with removing and installing automotive glass

• Assist with windshield, door glass, back glass, and other auto-glass installations

• Assist glaziers with measuring, handling, installing, and securing glass

• Load, unload, and safely transport glass and tools

• Prepare vehicles, work areas, and job sites

• Clean and organize work areas after each job

• Handle hand tools and power tools safely

• Follow proper safety procedures when handling glass

• Assist with shop, warehouse, and general maintenance duties

• Learn proper installation techniques and work toward becoming an independent technician/glazier

• Provide professional and courteous service to customers when working on-site

Qualifications

• No previous experience required—we are willing to train the right person

• Construction, automotive, glass, or general labor experience is a plus

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to lift and safely handle glass and equipment

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• Valid driver's license preferred/required

• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions

• Good attitude and strong work ethic

• Must be able to follow instructions and safety procedures

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
