Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel ContractAbout the Position
Pay Breakdown:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a travel assignment. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in accordance with the patient's care plan.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Monitor, assess, and document patients' conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment.
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other basic nursing procedures.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
Educate patients and their families regarding medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Follow infection control protocols, safety standards, and facility policies.
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and communicate concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience (travel experience required).
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred.
Flexible and adaptable to different healthcare settings.
Required License & Certifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (American Heart Association preferred).
IV Therapy Certification (if required by the facility).
Current immunizations and health screenings as required by the client facility.
