• Contract Duration: 13 Week (Extension Possible)
• Schedule: 8 hour blend of mid and nigtht shifts | 40 hours per week

Pay Breakdown:

• Weekly Gross Pay: 1720
• Weekly Stipend (Tax-Free): $1080
• Weekly Taxable Pay (W2): $640

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a travel assignment. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with the patient's care plan.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.

• Monitor, assess, and document patients' conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.

• Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other basic nursing procedures.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.

• Educate patients and their families regarding medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.

• Follow infection control protocols, safety standards, and facility policies.

• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and communicate concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience (travel experience required).

• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred.

• Flexible and adaptable to different healthcare settings.

Required License & Certifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (American Heart Association preferred).

• IV Therapy Certification (if required by the facility).

• Current immunizations and health screenings as required by the client facility.
