Overview: We currently pack 7,500+ orders across 3 daily shifts, 7 days per week. The Warehouse Supervisor runs multiple departments within a shift — pick & pack, prepick, receiving, or staging depending on where you're deployed — through the leads who own each one. You're measured on the labor rate and error rate of the functions you hold. We're looking for someone who wants to run a building eventually and is ready to prove it on a smaller footprint first: hands-on, organized, and more interested in fixing a recurring problem than working around it.
Key Responsibilities:
People
Direct the leads running each function. They own their task-level execution; you own whether the functions connect and whether those leads are getting better.
Hold the standard in the moment. Correct pace, quality, and process on the floor, and document what needs documenting.
Cover for gaps without becoming the gap. If you're picking every day, we've got a staffing problem to solve, not a workaround to keep running.
Run your piece of the huddle. Your team should know their numbers from the day before and their target for today.
Production
Own execution of your functions against labor and error targets for the full shift.
Own quality at the line. Produce gets culled before it reaches a box, and pick accuracy and order completeness don't slip when volume spikes.
Use error and labor reporting to find root causes in your area and fix them — not to explain them.
Hand off clean. The next supervisor on your functions gets open holds, remaining volume, and who's on the floor, every time.
Escalate early. When your area is tracking behind, your manager hears the recovery plan and what support you need, not the miss after the fact.
Planning
Deploy the labor you're given. Balance bodies across your functions through the shift as volume moves, and flag a real coverage gap before it becomes a miss.
Control pace, not hours. Overtime in your area is a signal we look at together.
Ideal Candidate:
Relentless about the details — you notice the thing that's off before anyone reports it, and you don't let it slide.
Direct. You can tell someone you worked next to last month that their pick rate isn't where it needs to be, and say it again the next day.
Owns outcomes, not effort. When your area misses, your first instinct is what you'd change, not what got in the way.
Systems-minded — you build the checklist, the routine, the standard, and then you hold it.
Experience with fresh produce or perishables is a strong plus, particularly a feel for when product should be pulled.
Thrives at pace. Heavy volume, two callouts, and a jammed line is a normal day, not a crisis.
Comfortable working in refrigerated environments (34–40°F) and on your feet for a full shift.
Available for weekend and evening coverage; weekends are our highest-volume days.
Prior experience leading people in a production, warehouse, kitchen, or retail environment. Formal supervisory titles aren't required — evidence that people followed you is.
Where this goes:
Supervisor is a three-level role here. You'll start holding a defined set of functions on one shift. At the top of the band, a Supervisor 3 can run the building end to end without a manager on the floor — that's the bench we're building as we move to 24-hour coverage, and it's the fastest route into a Warehouse Manager seat.
Schedule:
We run three shifts, seven days a week. Your specific shift and functions will be set based on where the business needs coverage and where your strengths fit. We'll discuss it during the process and confirm before you start. Expect 40+ hours per week, including weekends.
