Job description

Company Description
Epieme is a civic tech platform committed to enhancing the safety and accountability of healthcare across all 50 states. It gives patients, families, doctors, and advocates real-time updates and tools they can use. Epieme is nonpartisan. Our primary goal is to make healthcare systems more transparent before a serious event occurs, not after the damage has already been done.
Role Description
We’re looking for a Founding Product & Growth Associate to help us figure out how to bring Epieme to users, make onboarding easier, and turn attention into real action and awareness.
This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling, open to students, clinicians, researchers, and professionals who want to contribute to patient safety alongside their existing commitments.
You’ll work directly with the founder and have real ownership over initiatives such as:
・ Making it easier for people to find and understand Epieme
・ Testing experiments for growth and outreach (content, partnerships, onboarding)
・ Collecting and putting together user feedback
・ Helping to make complicated policy or online petitions easier to understand and use
・ Helping with research, writing, or presentations as needed
This role is intentionally broad. You can lean more toward product, research, outreach, or strategy depending on your background and availability.
Qualifications
We’re intentionally keeping this role open to people at many stages, including:
・ High school and college students who are interested in health, policy, or technology
・ Undergraduate and graduate students in medicine, public health, data, or policy
・ Doctors, residents, nurses, or other healthcare workers
・ Builders, researchers, writers, or advocates focused on patient safety
You do not need formal titles or prior startup experience.
What We’re Looking For
・ A strong sense of curiosity and judgment
・ Clear communication, whether written or spoken
Helpful but not required:
・ Interest in patient safety, healthcare systems, or civic technology
・ Familiarity with nonprofit or early-stage work
