Developer Advocate

Overview:
We’re looking for a high-agency, community-driven Developer Advocate to join our team. You’ll be the boots on the ground—creating content, representing us at events, engaging online, and growing a thriving developer community. You don’t need to know everything, but you should be excited to learn and ready to roll up your sleeves.

Location:
Hybrid (based in the San Francisco Bay Area)
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the face of the developer community, both online and in person
• Create compelling, educational, and inspiring content (blogs, videos, tutorials, etc.)
• Represent the company at local events, meetups, and conferences (including nights/weekends when necessary)
• Engage with developers through platforms like Discord and social media
• Organize and run community events with strong attention to detail
• Support community members, answer questions, and foster relationships
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to surface developer feedback
  
  

Ideal Candidate:

• Has prior experience as a developer (even if no longer coding day-to-day)
• Communicates clearly and effectively, both written and spoken
• Highly self-motivated and thrives in autonomous roles
• Passionate about developer communities and eager to help others succeed
• Willing to travel in the future for events and engagements
• Flexible work schedule (some evening and weekend events may be required)
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience managing or engaging in Discord or similar communities
• Previous community management experience
• Junior developer mentorship or support experience
