About the Role
Dental Arts is looking for a caring and dependable Dental Hygienist to join our Seminole team. In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive dental care, educate patients about their oral health, and help create a comfortable and positive experience during every visit.
The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys building long-term relationships with patients. You will work closely with our dentists and clinical team in a modern, supportive dental office where quality care and teamwork come first.
Responsibilities
Perform routine dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planing
Complete periodontal assessments and accurately document clinical findings
Take dental X-rays and update patient health histories
Educate patients about brushing, flossing, gum health, and preventive care
Identify possible oral health concerns and communicate findings to the dentist
Assist the dentist with treatment planning and patient education
Maintain accurate and complete patient records
Follow all infection-control, sterilization, and patient-safety procedures
Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and respected throughout their appointments
Work collaboratively with dentists, dental assistants, and front-office team members
Qualifications
Active Florida Dental Hygienist license
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
Current CPR or Basic Life Support certification
Strong communication and patient-education skills
Professional, friendly, and dependable
Ability to provide gentle and compassionate patient care
Experience with periodontal therapy and digital dental technology is preferred
Local anesthesia certification is a plus
