Dental Hygienist

About the Role

Dental Arts is looking for a caring and dependable Dental Hygienist to join our Seminole team. In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive dental care, educate patients about their oral health, and help create a comfortable and positive experience during every visit.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys building long-term relationships with patients. You will work closely with our dentists and clinical team in a modern, supportive dental office where quality care and teamwork come first.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planing

• Complete periodontal assessments and accurately document clinical findings

• Take dental X-rays and update patient health histories

• Educate patients about brushing, flossing, gum health, and preventive care

• Identify possible oral health concerns and communicate findings to the dentist

• Assist the dentist with treatment planning and patient education

• Maintain accurate and complete patient records

• Follow all infection-control, sterilization, and patient-safety procedures

• Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and respected throughout their appointments

• Work collaboratively with dentists, dental assistants, and front-office team members

Qualifications

• Active Florida Dental Hygienist license

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program

• Current CPR or Basic Life Support certification

• Strong communication and patient-education skills

• Professional, friendly, and dependable

• Ability to provide gentle and compassionate patient care

• Experience with periodontal therapy and digital dental technology is preferred

• Local anesthesia certification is a plus
