Do It Yourself Doggie Detailing is looking for an experienced, dependable dog groomer to join our team! We’re open to either part-time or full-time, depending on your availability and what you’re looking for.
We’re a locally owned, established dog grooming and self-service dog wash in Boise with a loyal customer base and a steady flow of dogs. We’re looking for someone who does great work, genuinely cares about the dogs in their care, and wants to work in a friendly, low-drama environment.
What You’ll Do

• Provide full-service dog grooming, including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, sanitary trims, de-shedding, and other standard grooming services


• Consult with customers about their dog’s grooming needs and desired style


• Handle dogs safely, patiently, and compassionately


• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area


• Communicate clearly with customers and our team


• Help create a positive experience that keeps customers coming back
  What We’re Looking For


• Professional dog grooming experience preferred


• Comfortable grooming a variety of breeds, sizes, coat types, and temperaments


• Reliable and able to manage appointments independently


• Strong attention to detail


• Patient and confident handling dogs


• Friendly and professional with customers


• Someone who takes pride in their work and treats animals with kindness
  Schedule
  We’re flexible and willing to build the position around the right person. Part-time and full-time schedules are both available. We’re especially interested in finding someone who wants to build a consistent schedule and clientele with us.
