Summary/Objective

As Cha Community Team Member, you will provide the highest level of guest service to the guests. You will prepare and serve high quality Taiwanese and Chinese boba tea beverages and food. You will commit to fulfilling Cha Community’s vision, mission, and dedication to culture inclusion and community to all team members, guests, and stakeholders. You will be a positive team member who likes to work hard, have fun, and show sincere dedication to Cha Community.


Required education and experience

High School Education, GED, or equivalent (preferred)

Food Handlers certificate (required by official start date)

Café/restaurant store experience (preferred)


Pay Scale

$10-13 per hour based on experience and specific duties. you also do get shared tips per shift. average $2~5 per hours.


Job Requirements

Exhibits quality customer service and communication skills

Ability to use home and commercial kitchen equipment including, but not limited to, the following: blenders, mixers, stove, oven, grill, boiler, deep fryer, dish washer, microwave, freezer, ice maker, and sharp knives

Ability to successfully know the menu, follow recipes and prepare products accordingly

Ability to process purchases through cash and credit card transactions

Ability to clean by using a variety cleaning equipment and supplies

Ability to report to work as scheduled

Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures

Ability to implement business city ordinances to minimizing the spread of COVID-19

Help/train new team members

Attend Cha Community team meetings, as scheduled

Other duties as assigned


Physical Demands

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time

Ability to access and navigate all areas of the work environment

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. At a time

Ability to physically bend, push, pull, stretch, move hands/wrists frequently

Ability to work in excessive heat and cold in association with the kitchen and outdoor mobile food/beverage until and outdoor food/beverage tent/canopy environment

Ability to work scheduled shifts and occasional events as needed


Work authorization/security clearance required

Must be eligible to work in the United States
