Job description


MJ Martin Design is seeking a Designer team member to assist with client projects from initial consultation through order placement and project follow-up. This role includes meeting with clients, gathering project details, preparing design concepts and cabinetry quotes, managing project documentation, coordinating selections and approvals, and supporting communication between clients, contractors, installers, and the office team. Key responsibilities include creating concept designs and estimates, using supplier software and Cabinet Vision software, managing project files and customer information, assisting with hardware selections and ordering, reviewing acknowledgments and change orders, maintaining CRM tasks, following up on leads and quotes, and helping keep the showroom organized and up to date. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple projects while communicating clearly with clients and team members. Cabinetry, kitchen/bath design, project coordination, or showroom experience is preferred. Compensation includes an hourly wage plus commission opportunity, with weekly hours varying based on workload.
