Test Technician 2 / Validation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Test Technician / Validation Engineer to support SSD hardware and firmware validation in an engineering lab environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SSD, NVMe, PCIe, hardware testing, system troubleshooting, and Linux. You will build and configure test systems, execute validation tests, troubleshoot issues, collect logs, and support SSD bring-up activities.

Work Environment: 

Hands-on, onsite engineering lab role requiring direct interaction with SSDs, servers, test systems, and lab equipment.

Support SSD hardware bring-up, testing, and validation.

Build, configure, and maintain NVMe/PCIe SSD test systems.

Execute test plans and validation procedures.

Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, software, and connectivity issues.

Collect logs, test results, and diagnostic information.

Support system setup, debugging, and lab equipment readiness.

Track SSDs, hardware, equipment, and lab inventory.

Work closely with Validation, Firmware, Hardware, IT, and Engineering teams.

Document test results, issues, and troubleshooting activities.

Support lab improvements through basic Python or Shell scripting.
