Job description

1. Position Summary

Lead and manage large-scale painting projects from inception to completion, ensuring strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Serve as the primary point of communication between clients, team members, and stakeholders, enhancing overall project efficiency and customer satisfaction.


2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of painting projects while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Develop detailed project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.

Coordinate and communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee project alignment with client expectations.

Monitor project progress, address and resolve issues promptly, and adjust plans as necessary to meet targets.


3. Key Tasks / Daily Activities

Review daily project schedules and coordinate with team members for efficient workflow.

Conduct on-site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure that work meets company standards.

Engage in regular communication with clients to provide project updates and gather feedback.

Track project expenses and prepare daily progress reports to maintain budget discipline.


4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Project Completion Rate: 100% of projects completed on schedule.

Budget Variance: Maintain under 5% deviation from initial budget estimates.

Customer Satisfaction Rating: >4.8 stars on post-project reviews.

Safety Compliance: Zero safety incidents per project.


5. Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years of experience managing large-scale painting or construction projects.

Proven project management skills with a strong ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Advanced communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.


6. Preferred Experience

Experience in the home services or construction industry managing painting projects.

Familiarity with project management software and tools tailored to construction projects.

Prior experience working with cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments.


7. Physical Requirements

Ability to perform periodic site visits including walking on uneven terrain and climbing ladders.

Capable of carrying or moving lightweight materials up to 25-50 lbs if required during on-site evaluations.

Comfortable working in outdoor environments with varying weather conditions.


8. Work Environment and Schedule

Regular Monday through Friday work schedule with occasional weekend project checks if needed.

Expected to travel to project sites within the designated region frequently.

Flexibility to work extended hours during project peaks or critical deadlines.


9. Compensation and Benefits

On Target Performance Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 USD depending on experience.

Eligibility for performance-based bonuses and commission structures.
