Job Description

· Edit raw footage into engaging video content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.

· Edit compelling short and long-form videos that blend interviews, scenic visuals, atmospheric storytelling, and cultural immersion.

· Apply a director’s eye and a storyteller’s heart to create shareable, emotionally engaging content.

· Optimize videos for social media platforms—understanding trends, algorithms, and what makes people stop, watch, and act. Ensure all content is optimized for each platform's specific rules and audience preferences.

· Collaborate with a multicultural team to shape content that sparks curiosity and invites the world to experience China authentically.

Qualifications

· Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar

· Proven experience in producing successful video content for social media platforms, with a clear understanding of their algorithms and best practices.

· A skilled editor with professional proficiency in editing software and a portfolio that shows creativity, technical excellence, and cross-cultural appeal.

· Fluent in English and Chinese; able to weave bilingual nuance into storytelling.

· Deeply interested in cultural exploration, human-centered narratives, and sustainable lifestyles.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· Ability to work independently and remotely
