YER USA is recruiting an Electrical & Controls Engineer for an industrial engineering organization supporting complex equipment and systems used in power generation, emissions control, and industrial process applications.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining electrical design, instrumentation, controls, automation, and commissioning. You’ll take ownership of the electrical scope of projects while collaborating with mechanical, process, controls, fabrication, and project teams.

What You’ll Do

・ Design electrical systems for industrial equipment and packaged systems

・ Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, control-panel designs, and electrical documentation

・ Support power distribution and integration with existing plant infrastructure

・ Work with PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, sensors, VFDs, MCCs, and control panels

・ Support controls and instrumentation for industrial process and emissions-control systems

・ Participate in equipment fabrication, installation, startup, testing, and commissioning

・ Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and controls issues

・ Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and system modifications

・ Maintain drawings, specifications, test documentation, and engineering records

・ Ensure designs meet applicable NEC, IEC, safety, and project requirements

・ Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams

What We’re Looking For

・ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline

・ 3+ years of industrial electrical engineering experience

・ Experience with electrical design, instrumentation, and controls

・ Ability to develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

・ Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar electrical CAD software

・ Working knowledge of NEC and/or IEC standards

・ Experience supporting commissioning, startup, installation, or troubleshooting

・ Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, automation, instrumentation, and power distribution

・ Ability to travel to customer sites as required

Highly Valued Experience

Experience in one or more of the following would be particularly relevant:

・ SCR / emissions-control systems

・ Power generation

・ Gas turbines or boilers

・ Combustion systems

・ Industrial process equipment

・ PLC/HMI/SCADA systems

・ Industrial instrumentation

・ Electrical/control-panel design

・ Packaged equipment

・ Equipment retrofits and system integration

APE license or Master’s degreeis a plus, but not required.
