Founding Technical Cofounder / AI Lead

Stealth startup in the AI, workflow automation, and vertical SaaS space is seeking a founding technical cofounder to help build an AI-native platform from the ground up.

We are focused on solving major operational inefficiencies in industries that still rely on spreadsheets, email, disconnected systems, manual reporting, and repetitive workflows.

We are looking for someone who can think strategically, build quickly, and help shape both the technical vision and long-term roadmap of the company.

This is a true cofounder role. There is no salary initially. Compensation is equity only.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and build the initial platform and MVP

• Develop AI workflows, automation systems, and agent-based functionality

• Own technical decisions across product, infrastructure, integrations, security, and scalability

• Help evaluate and select the tech stack

• Work closely with the founder on roadmap, priorities, fundraising, and hiring

• Recruit and manage future engineering talent as the company grows

• Help define the long-term technical vision of the company

Ideal Background

• Strong full-stack engineering background

• Experience building SaaS products from zero to launch

• Experience with AI agents, LLMs, workflow automation, APIs, OCR, RAG, vector databases, or data pipelines

• Familiarity with React, Next.js, Python, Node.js, Postgres, Supabase, and cloud infrastructure

• Startup mentality with the ability to operate in ambiguity

• Ability to move quickly and solve problems without waiting for layers of corporate approval theater

Preferred

• Prior startup, founder, or early-stage experience

• Experience in enterprise software, operations, compliance, finance, property management, or vertical AI

• Strong interest in becoming a long-term founding partner

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, or related field preferred but not required

• Equivalent startup, technical, or real-world building experience strongly valued
