Construction Superintendent

Who We Are:

Critical Path Solutions is a fully licensed Design-Build General Contractor. We build more than projects; we build lasting relationships. We are currently seeking an experienced, dedicated, and safety-conscious Construction Superintendent to help lead our projects with excellence, integrity, and pride. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day field operations and coordinate trade contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality, efficiency, and project success.

Coordinate trade scheduling in alignment with the CPM schedule, project priorities, and Lookahead Plans.

Plan, execute, and track weekly construction activities while proactively identifying upcoming work and potential challenges.

Order and coordinate materials and equipment to support project progress and maintain efficient operations.

Maintain accurate daily reports, jobsite documentation, and progress photos.

Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications to anticipate issues, identify conflicts, and support proactive problem-solving.

Serve as the primary field safety representative and enforce project safety, quality control, and quality assurance standards.

Conduct contractor coordination meetings focused on safety, quality, scheduling, and project execution.

Manage and update the project schedule, monitor progress, and communicate changes or potential delays to the Project Team and trade contractors.

Enforce the project quality plan and ensure work is completed in accordance with contract documents, specifications, and company standards.

Coordinate jobsite logistics, layout, and daily operations to maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

Strong attention to detail with the ability to proactively identify and address project issues.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively lead and coordinate teams and trade contractors.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Raken, and Sage 100 preferred.

Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contract documents, and construction sequencing.

Knowledge of construction means, methods, and safety practices; OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.

Experience & Education:

Preferred BS or MS in construction management or a related field.

Minimum 5+ years of experience working on commercial construction projects as a field engineer, assistant superintendent, or superintendent

(or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
