Position: Licensed Therapist
ABOUT US
Mindwave Therapy is a small, trauma-informed practice in Little Rock built with therapists in mind. We’re intentional about growth, supportive in our culture, and committed to creating a work environment where clinicians feel steady, valued, and able to do meaningful clinical work.
Because this practice was founded by a therapist, we understand the realities of the job — the emotional load, the admin overwhelm, and the difference it makes when you have structure behind you.
Our goal is to reduce as much friction as possible so you can focus on the part you do best: helping people heal.
Here, you’ll have autonomy, flexibility, and a reliable support system — without productivity quotas, micromanaging, or the burnout culture so many clinicians are trying to leave behind.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a clinician who’s steady, growth-minded, and comfortable working with trauma. Someone who values autonomy, shows up for their clients, and wants to build a meaningful caseload.
There are no productivity quotas here. You’ll have control over your schedule and caseload size, with financial incentive for higher weekly service delivery. That said, priority will be given to candidates who are ready to build toward a full-time caseload and stay engaged as we continue to grow.
Our team specializes in trauma and trauma-related disorders, and we’re especially interested in clinicians who are trained in EMDR or excited to pursue EMDR training (we cover the full cost).
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Complete intake assessments (MSE, diagnostic evaluation, biopsychosocial history) and create collaborative, trauma-informed treatment plans
- Provide individual therapy — and couples therapy, if that’s a good fit for your strengths or something you’d like to grow into
- Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation that supports medical necessity; we give you guidance, templates, and optional extra training at no cost
- Stay connected with a supportive clinical team through consultation, supervision (if needed), and access to tools that make your work easier
WHAT WE OFFER
True Flexibility
- Set your own schedule and choose the hours that work best for your life
- No productivity quotas or minimums — just steady, meaningful clinical work
- You’ll have a private office and the freedom to organize your week in a way that supports your wellbeing
Ongoing Growth
- Advanced training opportunities in areas like complex trauma, neurodivergence, EMDR, and more
- We invest in your specialization — without adding financial pressure
- Optional tools and consultation resources to support strong client outcomes
- As our practice grows, there’s room to take on more responsibility and shape your role over time if that’s something you’re excited about
Full Admin Support
- We manage marketing, scheduling, billing, insurance, and initial client communications
- You’re welcome to stay fully supported — or take over parts of scheduling if that suits your workflow
- HIPAA- and 42 CFR Part 2–compliant recordkeeping is handled for you
Quick Start
- We manage your credentialing and start building referrals during onboarding
- Most clinicians begin seeing clients within 3–4 weeks
- You’ll move through a clear, structured onboarding process with optional check-ins whenever you need them
- Before you start, we do a focused final review so you feel confident and supported from day one
Steady Referrals
- We’re intentional about matching clients to clinicians based on strengths, specialty, and fit
- Let us know your caseload goals — we’ll fill your schedule accordingly and pause referrals when you're full
- You’ll stay connected to work you’re energized by through thoughtful, targeted marketing that aligns with your skills and interests
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Arkansas license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
- Master’s degree in a behavioral or mental health field
- Ability to provide in-person sessions in Little Rock, with optional telehealth (Arkansas clients only)
- Comfort working with individual clients and openness to incorporating couples work if it aligns with your strengths or training goals
- Interest in trauma-informed care and a willingness to engage in ongoing clinical development — whether you’re already specialized or want to grow
WORK SETTING
- Location: Primarily in-person at our Little Rock office. You’ll have your own fully furnished private office and secure building access whenever you need to be on site.
- Remote Work: Optional telehealth sessions for Arkansas-based clients.
- Job Type: Independent contractor (1099). Autonomy and flexibility included.
COMPENSATION
- $65–$125 per 53-minute session (CPT 90837 + 90847), depending on insurance payer and reimbursement rate
