The Mission
We are ending the era of "drilling for the sake of drilling." Soilense is a subsurface intelligence platform that transforms decades of "dirty" data—messy PDFs, legacy geotechnical reports, and water well logs—into high-fidelity 3D "virtual boreholes." We are building the data layer for a more sustainable, risk-aware construction industry.
The Reality Check (Read Before Applying)
• Compensation: This is a stock-only/equity-based position for the co-founding phase. If you are looking for a salaried "job" or a 9-to-5, this is not the right fit. I am looking for a partner with "skin in the game" to build a high-value asset.
• The Progress: This is not an "idea-stage" startup. We have a functional MVP (built on Lovable/React/Supabase), deep domain expertise through my firm (MPERA), and an established industry network.
• The Equity: You will join with significant equity, but it is performance-based and earned through vesting. I am not entertaining 50/50 splits for an existing asset.
• The Culture: I work weekends and late nights because I choose to. I expect a co-founder with that same "owner" intensity.
The Role
You will own the technical architecture and lead the transition from MVP to a scalable enterprise platform.
• Data Extraction: Build robust ML/LLM pipelines to extract structured geotechnical data from unstructured, non-standardized PDFs.
• Geospatial Intelligence: Lead the development of 3D subsurface profiling and data visualization.
• Full-Stack Ownership: Manage the current Lovable/Supabase stack and determine the roadmap for our permanent infrastructure.
