About the Role
Eruption Boxing & MMA Management is seeking a motivated Boxing Recruiter/Scout Intern to help identify promising amateur and professional boxers.
This hands-on opportunity offers real experience in athlete scouting, recruitment, and talent evaluation within the boxing industry. You’ll work closely with management to research fighters, evaluate potential prospects, and support outreach to boxers, coaches, gyms, and other industry contacts.
Key Responsibilities
Research amateur and professional boxers across different weight classes
Identify promising fighters who may benefit from management representation
Review fight footage, records, experience, and career potential
Assist with outreach to fighters, coaches, gyms, and industry contacts
Maintain organized scouting reports and prospective-fighter lists
Track upcoming boxing events and emerging talent
Support introductory meetings and the athlete recruitment process
Help evaluate each fighter’s athletic ability, professionalism, marketability, and career goals
Ideal Candidate
Pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, Exercise Science, or a related field
Strong knowledge of boxing or a willingness to learn
Comfortable researching fighters and analyzing fight footage
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail
Able to work independently in a remote environment
Previous boxing, scouting, coaching, or recruiting experience is a plus
