About the Role

Avendano Health Medical Wellness & Lab is a modern, CLIA-waived wellness lab and specimen collection site working with multiple national lab platforms. This role is designed to be efficient, low-stress, and highly organized.

Most patients complete intake digitally before arrival. Your primary responsibilities will be specimen collection, basic coordination with send-out labs, and maintaining a clean, professional clinical environment.

This is a great role for a dependable phlebotomist who values structure, professionalism, and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture safely and efficiently on adult patients

• Process specimens and prepare kits for send-out labs

• Coordinate pickups and communicate with partner labs as needed

• Use digital platforms for patient records, requisitions, and scheduling

• Maintain a clean, organized lab at all times (daily cleaning required)

• Answer occasional calls related to lab coordination and specimen logistics

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience (clinic, lab, or draw site)

• Strong computer literacy required — nearly all workflows are digital

• Spanish required (spoken fluency for patient communication)

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently

• Professional demeanor at all times in a healthcare environment
