Wizards Automotive And RV · Marketing And Business Development Director
Benefits
Lube Technician — Automotive Maintenance Artist
Wizards Automotive & RV is hiring for a position the industry calls a Lube Technician. Here, you'll be more than that. You'll be an Automotive Maintenance Artist — one of the people responsible for establishing the quality, safety, and attention to detail that every vehicle receives from the moment it enters our shop.
We are a standards-first, revenue-second, customer-advocacy-rooted High Reliability Organization (HRO).
This is not an oil-change assembly line.
You'll perform oil changes, fluid services, tire services, inspections, filters, batteries, and other routine maintenance while learning to recognize the difference between something that requires attention now, something that should be monitored, and something that doesn't need to be sold at all.
At Wizard's, proof comes before parts. We don't manufacture repairs. We don't replace components because somebody guessed. We inspect, document, communicate, and do the work correctly.
The automotive industry can be fast-paced and high-intensity. It runs on fluidity and the ability to eliminate chaos by converting it into calmness. That's the environment you'll work in — and that's why we structure the way we do.
Hours are 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
What we offer: a full benefits package including paid time off and vacation in your first year, plus health care coverage. A real path to advance into automotive repair, diagnostics, RV service, or other areas of the company. Most importantly, a shop where second chances exist if you're willing to do the work.
What is HRO and why does it matter to you?
High Reliability Organizations prioritize quality work, psychological safety, communication, and continuous improvement. We work through tight communication and systems thinking. When something goes wrong, we don't immediately look for someone to blame. We determine what happened, why it happened, and how the system can be improved so it doesn't happen again.
We are diligent about living these ideals every single day.
What is required: reliability, attention to detail, willingness to learn, ability to follow procedures, good communication, and respect for the people and vehicles entrusted to us. Previous automotive experience is helpful, but character, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn matter.
You must be willing to ask questions when you don't know something. Guessing has no place around a customer's vehicle.
Our hiring process is rigorous and intentional. All interview components will be scheduled when we contact you.
We're looking for people, not just technicians.
We don't brag. We don't need fanfare. We just deliver, quietly, and we're hiring people willing to do the same.
If you're ready to learn a trade, work within a structured team, and build a career somewhere standards actually mean something, join us.
Have a direct hand in proving that a business can advocate for everyone, treat root causes instead of symptoms, create opportunities for its people, and generate wealth for its teams without sacrificing its principles.
Pay: $15.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill.
