About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AV Project Manager to lead large-scale and high-complexity audiovisual integration projects from installation through commissioning.

The successful candidate will combine strong AV technical expertise with project management and team leadership skills. This position will oversee field technicians, coordinate project timelines and resources, troubleshoot complex systems, and maintain strong relationships with clients, builders, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale and high-complexity AV integration projects from installation through commissioning.
• Manage and supervise field technicians, including task delegation, scheduling, productivity, and performance oversight.
• Provide on-site technical leadership and ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Perform advanced programming, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Integrate audiovisual, lighting, HVAC, security, automation, and networking systems.
• Coordinate day-to-day communication with homeowners, builders, vendors, field teams, and internal leadership.
• Monitor project workflow, timelines, quality, and overall execution.
• Maintain acceptable gross margins and financial performance across assigned projects.
• Resolve advanced technical issues and escalations.
• Ensure installations meet company quality standards and industry best practices.
• Train, mentor, and develop junior and lower-level technicians.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional AV industry experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting and AV system integration skills.
• Strong understanding of AV industry standards and best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-management abilities.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to confidently work with clients, vendors, technicians, and company leadership.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Control4 Automation Programmer certification.
• PCNA or equivalent networking certification.
• Lutron RA3 certification or lighting competency.
• Experience with automation, networking, lighting, and integrated technology systems.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $60,000–$65,000 per year.
