Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer – Frontend Focus (Contract-to-Hire)

Our client is building software that helps engineering and manufacturing teams design, build, and manage complex hardware more efficiently. They’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong frontend focus to help expand and improve a growing SaaS platform used by technical teams and external customers.

This is a frontend-leaning full-stack role, with React and TypeScript at the center of the work. You’ll have ownership across the application stack, partnering with other engineers and stakeholders to build new functionality, improve the user experience, and deliver reliable software from development through production.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with full benefits. This is a remote role with required travel to company headquarters for one week of onboarding and approximately one week per quarter thereafter. Candidates must be based in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, or Washington (hybrid remote if located in the Greater Seattle area).

In this role you’ll:

• Build and deliver new product features using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Postgres

• Take ownership of features from technical design through development, testing, deployment, and production support

• Develop modern, intuitive React-based user interfaces

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to turn requirements into high-quality software

• Work across the stack to connect frontend experiences with APIs, backend services, and data

• Write clean, maintainable code with strong unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

• Contribute to CI/CD improvements and engineering best practices

• Participate in a reasonable on-call rotation supporting the SaaS platform

Ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience

• Deep expertise with React and TypeScript

• Strong experience working with GraphQL APIs

• Experience with Postgres or other relational databases

• A strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

• Experience owning features through the full software development lifecycle

• Full-stack development experience, with a particular strength on the frontend

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Prior experience participating in an on-call or production support rotation

Nice to have:

• Experience with Next.js or similar frameworks

• Apollo, Hasura, or comparable GraphQL technologies

• Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and AWS

• Hands-on CI/CD experience

• Experience working with complex engineering, manufacturing, or other technical products

Must qualify to work in an ITAR environment (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
