Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Event Chef based throughout Colorado. The Event Chef will be responsible for designing and executing customized menus for various events, including private dinners, parties, and cooking classes. Daily tasks include ingredient selection, meal preparation, cooking, presentation, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized kitchen space, managing supplies and inventory, and collaborating with clients to create personalized dining experiences.
Qualifications
Menu development, meal preparation, and cooking skills
Event planning and customer relation skills
Food safety and kitchen sanitation knowledge
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to timelines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Experience with a variety of cuisines and cooking techniques
Valid food handler’s certification is a plus
