Latin/Classics Teacher for Middle school

About This Role

We are looking for a  part time knowledgeable and passionate Latin/Classics Teacher for our Middle School. In this role, you will inspire students to appreciate ancient languages and cultures while developing their skills in Latin.

Responsibilities

• Teach Latin language and classical literature effectively to middle school students.

• Design engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

• Manage classroom dynamics to create a positive learning environment.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Integrate technology into lessons to enhance student learning.

• Help students understand the cultural context of the materials studied.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• Strong proficiency in the Latin language.

• Knowledge of classical literature.

• Experience in lesson planning and classroom management.

• Ability to design effective assessments.

• Understanding of cultural contexts related to Latin and Classics.

• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
