Research & Data Operations Assistant : Part-Time, Remote
Company
Siddh Enterprise is an early-stage sustainable investment research startup based in the Boston area. We create source-traceable, decision-ready market and ecosystem research for climate-tech businesses, investors, and ecosystem partners.
Our initial focus is industrial decarbonization, waste management, and the circular economy. We turn scattered information from approved public and licensed sources into organized research briefs, comparison tables, and practical next steps.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Research & Data Operations Assistant to support our research workflow. You will work directly with the founder to collect, organize, verify, and document market information so it can be used confidently in internal research and client-facing materials.
This is a paid, part-time remote role, initially expected to require approximately 8–12 hours per week. It is well suited to a current student, recent graduate, or early-career candidate interested in climate tech, sustainable finance, research, or data operations.
What You’ll Do
- Collect and organize company, market, funding, policy, and ecosystem information from approved sources.
- Clean and structure data in spreadsheets, research trackers, Notion, and shared folders.
- Maintain clear source records, including links, publication dates, access dates, and supporting notes.
- Check data for duplicates, missing fields, inconsistent formatting, and conflicting claims.
- Flag information that needs further verification instead of making unsupported assumptions.
- Help prepare concise comparison tables, market maps, and research summaries.
- Follow internal standards for confidentiality, source attribution, file organization, and version control.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, finance, economics, environmental studies, data analytics, engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is welcome.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured information.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Clear written English and organized documentation habits.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate progress remotely.
- Interest in climate technology, industrial sustainability, investment research, or data quality.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Notion, OneDrive, CRM systems, or research databases.
- Familiarity with startup, climate-tech, or financial-market research.
- Basic experience with data cleaning, source citation, or research summaries.
