Overview
We are an investment firm seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Software Procurement Analyst to support our portfolio companies. In this role, you will act as the front line in evaluating software vendors: coordinating and attending product demos, capturing insights, and helping inform purchasing decisions.
This is a fully remote, part-time role with flexible scheduling within U.S. business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and reach out to software vendors based on internal requirements
Schedule product demos and manage calendar coordination
Attend demo calls with vendors (via Zoom/Google Meet/Teams)
Follow provided call scripts to guide conversations when needed
Ask basic clarifying questions and engage professionally during calls
Take structured, detailed notes on product features, pricing, and positioning
Summarize key takeaways and share insights with internal stakeholders
Track outreach, meetings, and follow-ups in an organized system
Requirements
No prior experience or education is required
Fluent in spoken and written English (required)
Comfortable speaking on live calls with external vendors
Strong organizational and note-taking skills
Ability to follow scripts while communicating naturally
Reliable internet connection and access to a computer
Self-directed and dependable in a remote work environment
Role Details
Hours: ~10 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible within 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Eastern Time (U.S.)
Location: Fully remote (open worldwide)
Compensation: $15/hour (USD)
