Role Description
Design and develop mechanical components with a focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet manufacturing capabilities and assembly requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to optimize designs for production.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for design processes and specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues during the product development lifecycle.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of DFM and DFA principles.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
