Role Description


  • Design and develop mechanical components with a focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet manufacturing capabilities and assembly requirements.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to optimize designs for production.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for design processes and specifications.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues during the product development lifecycle.


Qualification


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of DFM and DFA principles.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
