Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Backend Developer to join our team in Wilmington, DE. This is a fully onsite position requiring a strong background in designing, developing, and securing enterprise-grade backend applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with .NET, RESTful APIs, AngularJS, and modern authentication and authorization technologies. Experience working in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications, APIs, and system integrations using .NET technologies.

• Build and enhance RESTful APIs that are secure, scalable, and high performing.

• Support and contribute to AngularJS-based front-end applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.

• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JWT.

• Develop and maintain secure API endpoints following enterprise security standards and secure coding best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.

• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems to meet established KPIs and service-level objectives.

• Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in .NET/C# backend development.

• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and enterprise backend services.

• Working knowledge of AngularJS and its integration with .NET applications.

• Strong understanding of authentication and identity management technologies, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JWT.

• Experience securing enterprise applications, APIs, and web services.

• Solid knowledge of application security best practices and secure coding standards.

• Experience optimizing application performance and working in KPI-driven environments.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.

• Experience supporting applications with strict security and compliance requirements.

• Knowledge of enterprise-scale architectures, distributed systems, and system integrations.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
