Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end features for candidate experiences and employer tools, including dashboards and ATS integrations.
• Design systems targeting low latency (<200ms), high reliability, and cost-effective scalability.
• Ensure secure, compliant software development, focusing on PII handling and audit logs.
• Manage services from design through implementation, observability, and iteration.
• Collaborate with founders on product trade-offs, experiment design, and roadmap planning.
• Enhance code quality, testing, monitoring, and developer ergonomics.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in building production web applications at scale.
• Proven track record of shipping multiple full-stack features with real user impact.
• Proficient across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure; capable of profiling and debugging.
• Strong focus on security, privacy, and reliability in software development.

Technical Skills

• Frontend: Proficient in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Zustand/Redux, Vite, and Tailwind.
• Backend: Experience with Node.js and/or Python (FastAPI), REST/gRPC, and WebSockets.
• Real-time/Media: Knowledge of WebRTC, SFU/MCU concepts, and concurrency patterns.
• Data: Familiarity with Postgres, Redis, Elastic/OpenSearch, and analytics pipelines.
• Infrastructure: Experience with Azure/AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Security/Compliance: Understanding of AuthN/Z (OAuth/SAML/JWT) and secrets management.

Nice to Have

• Strong product sense and proficiency in Figma.
• Familiarity with ML/LLM concepts, including prompting and inference at scale.
• Experience with proctoring systems, fraud detection, or trust & safety.
• Knowledge of ATS integrations (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever) and enterprise SSO.
• Background in building mobile-first and accessible applications.
