Forward Deployed Engineer

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join WalletLabels and work directly with teams building onchain products.

This is a highly hands-on role at the intersection of engineering, data, and customers. You’ll work with protocols, wallets, analytics platforms, and other Web3 teams to understand their data needs, build integrations, ship solutions, and turn real-world problems into product improvements.

What you’ll do

• Work directly with customers and partners to understand their onchain data and labeling needs
• Build production integrations using the WalletLabels API and our onchain data infrastructure
• Prototype and ship solutions quickly, from idea → implementation → deployment
• Debug complex blockchain/data problems alongside customers
• Feed customer learnings back into the core product and roadmap
• Help teams integrate wallet/entity labeling into their products and workflows
• Build internal tooling, scripts, and data pipelines when needed

What we’re looking for

• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Comfortable with TypeScript/JavaScript and APIs
• Familiarity with Ethereum/EVMs and onchain data
• Ability to work independently and move quickly in ambiguous environments
• Strong communication skills — you’ll spend significant time talking to users and engineers
• Product-minded: you care about solving the underlying problem, not just writing code

Bonus points

• Experience with Solidity, SQL, GraphQL, or data engineering
• Experience working with Dune, The Graph, Alchemy, Flipside, or similar tooling
• Previous experience at a Web3 protocol, wallet, analytics company, or infrastructure startup
• You enjoy talking to customers as much as you enjoy writing code

This is a great role for someone who wants to own problems end-to-end, work extremely close to users, and help shape the direction of an early-stage Web3 data infrastructure company.
