This position will work closely with the Global Controller and broader finance team and will have exposure to a wide range of accounting activities across our U.S. and international operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of core accounting processes while gaining broader experience in a growing, global organization. The role offers meaningful development opportunities and a potential path toward an Assistant Controller position as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities

  • Own key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules

  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and investigate account variances

  • Support consolidation and intercompany accounting across U.S. and international entities

  • Assist with cash, accounts payable, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts

  • Support preparation of financial statements and management reporting

  • Assist with external audits and quarterly reviews, including preparation of supporting schedules and responses to auditor requests

  • Help maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

  • Support NetSuite accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve and automate workflows

  • Partner with teams across the organization to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes

  • Assist with special projects and other finance initiatives as the company continues to scale
    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Approximately 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience

  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles

  • Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of assignments

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working in a growing environment where processes continue to evolve
    Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or progress toward CPA certification

  • Public accounting experience

  • NetSuite experience

  • Experience with multi-entity or international accounting

  • Experience supporting external audits

  • Combination of public accounting and industry experience
    Why BlueWind Medical
This role provides an opportunity to join a growing finance organization at an important stage in the company’s development. You will work directly with finance leadership, gain exposure to both U.S. and international operations, and have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as the company grows.
