## About Us

GC Cares Services is opening a new 16-bed residential treatment center in Oroville, California. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build a program from day one — shaping the clinical culture, group curriculum, and client experience rather than inheriting someone else's system.

We are a small-census, high-touch program. With only 16 beds, our clinicians actually know their clients, carry manageable caseloads, and have direct access to leadership.

## The Opportunity

We are looking for a registered Associate Therapist (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC) to provide individual and group therapy to adults in residential treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

**Free clinical supervision is provided** toward your BBS hours — no supervision fees, no chasing down a supervisor on your own time. If you are accruing hours toward licensure, this role is designed to get you there.

## What You'll Do

- Provide individual therapy sessions to an assigned caseload of residential clients
- Facilitate process groups, psychoeducation groups, and skills-based groups
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and participate in treatment planning
- Write timely, compliant clinical documentation in our EHR (Alleva)
- Coordinate care with the clinical director, medical director, case management, and BHT staff
- Participate in weekly clinical team meetings and individual supervision
- Support family sessions and discharge/aftercare planning
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, DHCS, and program standards

## What We're Looking For

**Required**

- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Counseling
- Current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an **AMFT, ACSW, or APCC** in good standing
- Strong clinical writing and documentation skills
- Ability to work respectfully with clients in early recovery, including those with trauma histories and co-occurring diagnoses
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Oroville, CA
- Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements for facility staff

**Preferred**

- Prior experience in residential, PHP, or IOP substance use treatment
- Training or experience in CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, or trauma-informed modalities
- Experience with electronic health records (Alleva a plus)
- Bilingual Spanish/English

## Compensation

**$30.00 – $38.00 per hour**, depending on experience and registration status. Associates who become licensed during their time with us move to the top of the range and are considered for licensed clinician roles as the program grows.

On top of base pay, **clinical supervision is provided at no cost to you** — a benefit most associates pay $150–$400 per month out of pocket to get elsewhere.

## Schedule

Full-time or part-time. Primarily weekday daytime hours with some flexibility required for family sessions and evening groups.
