Java & React Developer

We are seeking a skilled Java & React Developer to join our team in Bothell, WA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack web applications using Java on the backend and React on the frontend. This role involves close collaboration with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, performance-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop reusable components and frontend libraries for future use.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third-party APIs.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, QA, and product owners.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
Day-to-Day Activities:
• Develop new features and enhance existing modules in Java and React.
• Work on API design, development, and integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Fix bugs, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Review peer code and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
• Coordinate with QA teams to support testing and deployment activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in Java development with strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development using React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GraphQL, Node.js, or BFF architecture is a plus.
• Prior experience in enterprise-scale applications.
