Electrician

Works under general supervision to perform journeyman level work, such as repairing and maintaining electrical wiring, evaluating layout plans and cost estimates; installing new systems, repairing existing electrical high and low voltage electrical systems; performing minor rebuilding tasks; repairing or replacing miscellaneous equipment.
Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment and fixtures in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association standards and the National Electrical Code.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuits breakers, panels and wiring systems to identify hazards, defects or the need for adjustment or repair.
Install and connect electrical systems including:

• Light fixtures
• Outlets and switches
• Circuit breaker and panels
• HVAC electrical components
• Motors and control systems
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic to locate electrical issues using testing devices such as multimeter and voltmeter
  Minimum qualifications
• High school or GED required
• 3-5 years of industrial electrician chemical experience or a closely similar industrial plant manufacturing setting
• Hold a journeyman or master license
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Possess specialized expertise in installing and maintaining electrical systems within the manufacturing operations and or related fields is an advantage is an advantage
• Travel to the Job site and assist with the set up and breakdown of wirk areas
• Must speak English fluently
