Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ForgeRock Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using the ForgeRock platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ForgeRock Identity Platform components and have a strong background in architecting secure, scalable, and high-performing IAM solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end IAM solutions using ForgeRock components including:

  • ForgeRock Access Management (AM)
  • ForgeRock Identity Management (IDM)
  • ForgeRock Directory Services (DS)
  • ForgeRock Identity Gateway (IG)

• Lead implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and adaptive authentication solutions.

• Define IAM architecture, security standards, and best practices aligned with enterprise policies.

• Provide technical leadership across integration, deployment, migration, and modernization initiatives.

• Collaborate with business, security, and application teams to define identity lifecycle management strategies.

• Design and implement API security and access control frameworks.

• Oversee ForgeRock platform upgrades, performance tuning, and scalability initiatives.

• Conduct architecture reviews, security assessments, and solution validations.

• Mentor development and engineering teams on IAM best practices.

• Troubleshoot complex IAM issues and provide L3/L4 support guidance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in the ForgeRock IAM Suite.

• Strong expertise in:

  • ForgeRock AM (Access Management)
  • ForgeRock IDM (Identity Management)
  • ForgeRock DS (Directory Services)
  • ForgeRock IG (Identity Gateway)

• Hands-on experience with:

  • SSO and Federation (SAML)
  • OAuth2 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
  • MFA and Adaptive Authentication

• Strong proficiency in:

  • Java
  • REST APIs
  • JSON
  • LDAP

• Experience with:

  • Microservices architecture
  • API Security
  • Identity Governance
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC)

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and hybrid deployments.

• Familiarity with DevOps technologies including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ForgeRock Identity Cloud.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture.
• Experience integrating IAM solutions with enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, and other business systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks including NIST and ISO 27001.

Preferred Certifications

• ForgeRock Certified Professional or Expert
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• AWS, Azure, or GCP Certifications
