Position Summary

Tonna Mechanical is seeking a skilled, customer-focused Service Plumber to join our growing team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining residential plumbing systems while delivering a first-class customer experience. Our plumbers are expected to provide honest recommendations, operate with integrity, and complete each job the “just right” way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues efficiently and accurately.

  • Perform service, maintenance, and repair work on plumbing systems and fixtures.

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing components including toilets, faucets, sinks, showers, tubs, water spigots, garbage disposals, hot water recirculators, water heaters, tankless water heaters, boilers, pumps, radiators, in-floor radiant systems, pressure tanks, gas piping, floor drains, roof drains, RPZ backflow preventers, domestic water lines, and sewer lines.

  • Communicate findings and repair options clearly with customers.

  • Provide honest, transparent guidance without unnecessary upselling or recommending premature replacement.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site.

  • Complete service documentation accurately and on time.

  • Represent Tonna Mechanical with professionalism, courtesy, and a strong service mindset.

  • Participate in an on-call or after-hours rotation as needed to support Tonna’s 24/7 service commitment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in residential service plumbing.

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

  • Knowledge of plumbing systems, repair methods, and installation best practices.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Commitment to doing quality work with integrity and urgency.
