About This Role
We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Tutor to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with students who require additional support, helping them to achieve their educational goals. You will create individualized education plans and implement tailored strategies to enhance their learning experience.
What You'll Do
- Develop and oversee Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
- Implement behavioral interventions and specialized curriculum tailored to each student's needs.
- Utilize assessment techniques to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Manage classroom dynamics to create a positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development and concerns.
- Integrate assistive technology to support learning objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in special education, ideally with a senior level of expertise.
- Strong skills in classroom management and communication.
- Ability to develop and execute specialized curriculum.
- Familiarity with assessment techniques and behavioral interventions.
- Passion for helping students with diverse learning needs.
