Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Developer to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software development with a focus on PySpark and Java Microservices. This role requires a deep understanding of database fundamentals and the ability to leverage GitHub Copilot for efficient code generation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement scalable software applications using PySpark and Java Microservices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Utilize GitHub Copilot to enhance coding efficiency and maintain high standards of code quality.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure best practices are followed.

Optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications and processes.

Participate in troubleshooting and debugging efforts to resolve software issues in a timely manner.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong proficiency in PySpark for big data processing and analytics.

Experience in developing Java Microservices with a focus on RESTful APIs.

Solid understanding of database fundamentals, including SQL and NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and its application in code generation.

Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Understanding of software testing frameworks and practices.

Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular is a plus.
