Position Overview
Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles is seeking experienced Chemotherapy Registered Nurses to join its Oncology team. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with recent chemotherapy infusion experience who are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered oncology care in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive oncology treatments.
Monitor patients before, during, and after infusion therapy.
Assess and manage treatment side effects and infusion reactions.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management.
Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary care team.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with oncology safety standards.
Requirements
Active California RN License.
Recent Chemotherapy/Oncology nursing experience.
Current ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required.
BLS (AHA) required.
Strong IV, central line, and infusion therapy experience.
Epic experience preferred.
