Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, client-focused Personal Injury Attorney to manage a diverse caseload from pre-litigation through litigation, depending on experience. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong advocacy, research, and negotiation skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about achieving outstanding outcomes for clients.
Working alongside our senior attorneys and experienced support staff, you'll play a key role in developing case strategy, representing clients, and delivering exceptional service throughout the legal process.
Responsibilities
Manage a high-volume personal injury caseload from intake through resolution.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands.
Develop litigation strategies and prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences.
Negotiate favorable settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout their cases.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
Review medical records, expert reports, and other evidence to build strong cases.
Ensure compliance with court deadlines and legal procedures.
Deliver exceptional client service while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the Arizona State Bar (or ability to become licensed promptly).
3+ years of personal injury litigation experience preferred.
Proven ability to independently manage a substantial caseload.
Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Experience using legal case management software and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to providing outstanding client service and achieving exceptional results.
Preferred Qualifications
Trial experience in personal injury matters.
Experience handling catastrophic injury or wrongful death cases.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Total Compensation: $175,000 – $240,000 annually (DOE)
