Our client is a fast-growing fintech building a banking and cash management platform for consumer brand businesses. They use AI agents to automate the financial back office — moving idle cash to high yield, cash projections, bill pay, and smart credit — turning banking from a cost center into a profit center. They just raised a $35M Series A from a top investor. 250+ customers producing $1B+ in combined sales. Team of ~35 from leading fintech and commerce companies. Founded 2021, with offices in NYC and Toronto. One of the first companies using LLMs to automate finance operations.

The role

They're hiring 5–7 engineers, so backend, frontend, and full-stack profiles all work. Small team, high ownership, ships fast.

What you'll do

• Build and ship product features end to end — from scoping to production

• Work on banking integrations, cash forecasting ML models, and LLM-powered features

• Own real systems in a small team

• Collaborate in person with a tight, high-quality engineering team

What we're looking for

These are hard requirements. Check each one that applies to you.

• 4+ years of software engineering experience (senior to staff level)

• Strong in backend, frontend (TypeScript/React), or full-stack

• Startup experience (seed to Series B/C)

• Track record of owning projects end to end: scoping, building, shipping, iterating

• Stable work history

• US Citizen/Green Card, H-1B transfer, or TN-eligible (no new sponsorship)

• Can work on-site 5 days/week in New York City or Toronto

Compensation & logistics

• $200k–$260k + meaningful equity

• New York City or Toronto — on-site 5 days/week
