Mainframe programmer/developer

Role : Mainframe programmer/developer

Location: Pennington, NJ

Onsite: 3 days a week

Contract: Long Term

Only W2 candidate

Interview process: 1 video interview then one face to face interview (must face to face)

Mus have: Cobol, DB2, JCL, mainframe batch processing  (midnight cycles/end of day), good communication skills

Core Requirements:

·  COBOL

·  DB2

·  JCL

·  Mainframe batch processing (end-of-day / midnight cycles)

Environment Specifics:

·  Fully classic mainframe environment

·  No CICS involvement needed

·  Covers full lifecycle of batch-oriented processing

Nice To have’s

•  Agile framework experience required

•  Tools:

·  Jira / Horizon

·  Endevor (code repository)

·  ISPW (nice to have; transitioning toward it)

·  Octane (testing; previously test scripts)

·  Exposure to Copilot for code rewrites/modifications
