About the Opportunity
I am looking for a motivated Business Partner to join a remote software engineering business and help build a long-term, scalable technology business together.
This is not a traditional salaried employment position. The partnership is based on contribution, shared responsibility, revenue generation, and long-term business growth.
The ideal partner should have strong English communication skills, a proactive mindset, technical or business experience, and a genuine willingness to build and succeed together.
The role is primarily Provider-focused, but the partner may also take on Actor responsibilities when necessary. We are looking for someone flexible enough to contribute wherever the business needs support.
What You Will Do Business & Client Responsibilities
Help identify and pursue software engineering opportunities.
Communicate professionally with potential clients, partners, and customers.
Participate in client discovery calls, meetings, and technical discussions.
Understand client requirements and help translate them into actionable technical work.
Help prepare proposals, project plans, estimates, and technical solutions.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Assist with business development, networking, and lead generation.
Help establish reliable processes for acquiring and delivering software projects.
Provider-Focused Responsibilities
Coordinate software engineering activities and project execution.
Help organize tasks, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Provide technical direction, guidance, or support when appropriate.
Help ensure that projects are delivered professionally and on schedule.
Coordinate resources, infrastructure, software tools, development environments, and access.
Support the Actor or other engineers working on assigned projects.
Review technical work and help maintain development quality.
Troubleshoot project, client, or technical issues.
Help establish engineering standards, workflows, and development processes.
Software Engineering Responsibilities (Optional)
Although the position is Provider-focused, the partner should be willing to participate directly in engineering work when required.
Potential responsibilities include:
Full-stack software development.
Backend and API development.
Frontend development.
Cloud and infrastructure engineering.
System design and architecture.
Database development and optimization.
AI/ML and GenAI application development.
Code review and technical quality assurance.
Debugging and production support.
Technical research and implementation.
The exact engineering responsibilities will depend on the partner's skills and the requirements of each project.
What We Are Looking For Essential
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Professional and reliable communication.
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Willingness to work collaboratively and solve problems.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Entrepreneurial mindset.
Willingness to take responsibility beyond a narrowly defined job description.
Genuine interest in building a successful business partnership.
Ability to communicate clearly with clients and business partners.
Willingness to contribute both strategically and operationally.
Technical / Professional Background (Preferred, but optional)
Experience in one or more of the following is highly valuable:
Software engineering.
Full-stack development.
Backend development.
Cloud engineering.
AI / GenAI engineering.
DevOps / infrastructure.
System architecture.
Technical consulting.
Project management.
Business development.
Client management.
Software sales or technical sales.
You do not need to be equally strong in every area. We are primarily looking for someone whose strengths complement the existing partnership.
Ideal Partner
The ideal candidate is someone who can say:
"If something needs to be done, I will take ownership and help make it happen."
We value initiative, communication, reliability, problem-solving, and long-term commitment more than a specific job title.
You may spend part of your time communicating with clients, coordinating projects, developing software, solving technical problems, or helping build the business itself.
The exact division of responsibilities can evolve as the partnership grows.
Partnership & Compensation
This is an equity/revenue-share-based business partnership, rather than a conventional fixed-salary position.
Under the proposed business model:
The Provider receives 30% of generated income.
The Actor receives 70% of generated income based on contribution and execution.
Responsibilities and contributions may be adjusted by mutual agreement.
Compensation may be renegotiated when responsibilities, workload, or business conditions materially change.
Earnings depend on actual business revenue and project activity.
There is no guaranteed monthly salary during periods when the business generates no revenue.
Potential monthly earnings may range from $0 to $10,000+, depending on revenue, projects, contribution, and business growth.
The exact structure, ownership, responsibilities, intellectual property, payment procedures, and other partnership terms will be mutually agreed upon before commencing the partnership.
How We Work
We will operate remotely and collaborate using modern communication and development tools.
The partnership may involve:
Remote meetings.
Client communications.
Technical discussions.
Software development.
Project planning.
Code reviews.
Documentation.
Business development.
Infrastructure management.
Continuous improvement.
We expect both partners to communicate openly, keep commitments, and address problems directly.
Why Join?
This opportunity is designed for someone who wants more than a conventional job.
You will have the opportunity to:
Build a business rather than simply work for one.
Participate in revenue generated by the business.
Take meaningful ownership of business operations.
Work with international software clients.
Participate in technical and business decisions.
Develop long-term business relationships.
Grow your responsibilities as the business grows.
Build a potentially significant income stream through successful projects.
Important
This opportunity is intended for someone interested in a genuine long-term business partnership.
We are not looking for someone who only wants to complete assigned tasks and collect a fixed paycheck.
We are looking for a partner who can communicate, take ownership, contribute ideas, solve problems, adapt to changing responsibilities, and work together toward a common business goal.
If you are technically capable, business-minded, communicative, and genuinely interested in building something together, we would like to hear from you.
