Senior Full-Stack Developer

We’re growing fast and expanding our product with new features, integrations, and AI-driven functionality — and we’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our development team and help shape the next stage of our platform.

Role Summary: 

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our core web application. You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to implement new features, improve system performance, and ensure the platform remains fast, secure, and scalable.

You’ll take ownership of both the front-end (React + TypeScript) and back-end (Node.js + Firebase Functions) codebases, participating in architecture decisions, feature development, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality front-end and back-end code using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Work with Firebase Functions to manage serverless logic and ensure reliable data flow between systems.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build new features, integrations, and UI improvements.
• Conduct code cleanup and optimization to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
• Integrate and maintain Stripe payment workflows, ensuring secure and efficient processing of user transactions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and help define technical best practices.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code with a focus on long-term maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed.

Required Skills & Experience: 

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on full-stack work.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, both on front-end and back-end.
• Hands-on experience with React for front-end development.
• Solid experience building APIs and serverless functions with Node.js and Firebase.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization, debugging, and clean code practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in an agile, remote-friendly environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills: 

• Experience integrating and managing Stripe payment APIs.
• Familiarity with Retool for building internal tools and dashboards.
• Experience implementing AI-powered solutions, such as using OpenAI APIs or machine learning models to enhance product functionality.
• Previous experience in fintech or other regulated environments.
