Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions, create reports and dashboards, and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for stakeholders.
• Support business teams by providing data-driven recommendations.
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
• Collaborate with business, product, and technical teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Document data processes, reports, and analytical methodologies.
• Assist in automating recurring reports and improving reporting efficiency.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, formulas).
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboard creation.
• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
• Understanding of data cleaning, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with relational databases.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Exposure to advanced Excel automation or scripting is an added advantage.
