Title: Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Sales
Location: New Haven, CT 06513 (Remote)
Employment: Full-Time (Permanent role)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute channel strategies that drive sales growth within an assigned territory. This role will focus on managing existing channel partners, developing new business opportunities, and building long-term customer relationships to achieve revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
Achieve or exceed annual sales and order growth targets aligned with company objectives.
Develop regional sales strategies, key account plans, and growth initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and customers.
Provide product knowledge, pricing support, and assistance with technical and commercial quotations.
Create account plans with goals, objectives, and sales targets for channel partners.
Identify opportunities to expand regional coverage by developing new channel partnerships.
Lead onboarding activities for new channel partners.
Maintain accurate sales activity records, customer interactions, and pipeline updates using CRM systems.
Track opportunities, manage sales pipeline, and support territory forecasting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
7+ years of outside sales experience, preferably within pumps manufacturing, industrial equipment, or distributor management.
Experience with municipal and industrial pump markets is a plus.
Strong background in mechanical/electrical manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of electrical submersible pumps and electrical control systems preferred.
Experience managing distributors, channel partners, and OEM relationships.
Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory and attend industry trade shows.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Experience using CRM systems for sales activity tracking and pipeline management.
Experience with PowerBI and ERP systems is preferred.
